Investment Associate, Jackson Financial Management - Costa Mesa
Established mid-size Family CFO & Wealth Management firm in Orange County (Costa Mesa), CA currently seeks a well-qualified Investment Associate with a high degree of independence and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investment Management:
    • Maintain model portfolios, trading & research software
    • Rebalance accounts consistent with client objectives
    • Make investment and trading recommendations to the Portfolio Managers
    • Develop recommendations for asset allocation and investment selection for client 401(k)’s & other outside accounts
    • Conduct investment & market research
    • Preparation and maintenance of trade and research related documents
  • Investment Marketing:
    • Prepare and maintain client reports and investment presentations
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of online investment brochures
  • Investment Operations:
    • Client Cash Management
    • Monitor non-managed client accounts, including life insurance, annuities, and 401(k)’s
    • Daily Trade Reconciliation
    • Maintain Client Relationship Management (Junxure) database
  • Required experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics
    • Minimum 3 years of investment services experience required, preferably in an RIA environment
    • Minimum 3 years of computer experience required (subject matter will be tested)
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Economics and Investment Markets.
    • Financial statement analysis
  • Desired experience:
    • The registered investment advisor business
    • Schwab RIA platform & PortfolioCenter software
    • Morningstar Office
    • Junxure
    • MPI Stylus
    • Advanced Excel (database lookup, pivot tables and VBA programming skills a plus)
  • Currently in, enrolled in, or desire to enter either:
    • a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) board-approved education program, or the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program
  • Personal Characteristics:
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit personal integrity and professionalism
