individual will have exposure to a broad array of fixed income investment products, strategies,
and portfolios. Responsibilities include creating and updating customized client risk reports for

Client Service

Marketing

  • Supports all marketing and business development activities of the practice (print, media, etc.)
  • Works with staff to design and prepare presentation materials, deliverables (print + electronic)
Hiring Criteria

PIMCO’s Asset Allocation team is seeking a Quantitative Analyst - Equities to assist in our efforts of building a significant presence in this space.

The Quantitative Analyst - Equities will be responsible for:
• Working closely with our Asset Allocation Portfolio Management team to develop quantitative concepts of investing/finding value into our investment philosophy for the equity sleeve in the Multi-Asset Portfolio
• Perform customized searches that look at company or index level data
• Estimating equity risk premium based on valuation, technical, sentiment and macro- economic factors
• Develop, integrate and maintain off-the-shelf and proprietary factor based risk model system

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience as a portfolio analyst in a quantitative equity research team or quantitative index analyst within equity strategies
• Very strong equities investment knowledge base, as well as some experience working and modeling other asset classes (e.g.: fixed income, commodities, currencies, etc)
• Experience working with large equity data sets and market data providers such as; Bloomberg, BARRA, Factset, Compustat and others
• Experience analyzing cross company/cross index equity market data

PIMCO seeks a Product Associate to assist with efforts in the Liability Driven Investment (LDI) Group in Newport Beach, CA.  This position will work with and support the product management team.

Responsibilities
         Support Product Managers in delivering liability-driven investment solutions for clients
         Participate in the design, implementation, and monitoring of liability-driven investment solutions
        Partner with the Investment Solutions Group and perform asset/liability analysis to structure customized LDI solutions
         Assist in the development of new LDI products and funds
         Lever the effectiveness of the LDI product management team by supervising data/information coordination and analysis  
         Work with the product team to monitor and manage the project queue to help prioritize opportunities; follow up with Account Managers to ensure continued connectivity and sustained involvement with clients
