Job description
The Wealth Advisor is responsible for developing and maintaining wealth management relationships. The scope of services offered include; comprehensive financial planning, the development of both investment and risk-management strategies and personal trust administration services. He/she will actively work with internal business partners to identify opportunities to expand client relationships.

Desired Skills and Experience
Requires a Bachelors degree and 2 or more years directly related experience. Series 65 license required with CFA, and/or CFP preferred. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

Proven networking skills in attracting new asset management and trust business is required. Candidate must have demonstrated experience and history in developing long term high net worth client relationships. Expert oral and written communication skills and the ability to analyze and present highly sophisticated financial modeling are also required.

PIMCO seeks a Portfolio Manager focused on global liquidity and liability management. This individual will work with and report to the Head of PIMCO’s short term desk and be based in our Newport Beach, California location.
 
Major Responsibilities:
  • Strong portfolio management background, broadly including collateral trading, short-term investing, funding transactions and a solid macro economic foundation.
  • Aid in building out infrastructure/processes globally for short-duration business.
  • Assist with cash management and short-duration mandate optimization efforts.
  • Generate alpha-adding ideas in real time across multiple products.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications/Must Have:
  • Bachelor Degree Required/Advanced Degree a significant plus
  • Knowledge of funding strategies, including repo, stock loan and synthetic funding structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate ideas and strategies to enhance portfolio returns and mitigate risk.

Job Description: The Strategic Planning & Analysis group (“SP&A”) is responsible for financial planning, analysis, and research in support of the development, acquisition, and operating activities of the Irvine Company. The group serves all of the Company’s business lines, including Apartments, Office, Retail, Resorts, and Community Development.

The Integrated Analytics team provides rigorous analytic support for division and corporate management. The team provides transaction analysis (acquisitions, development, reinvestment, leasing, etc.), analytic advisory, and decision support services, and coordinates / advises on major analytic projects across the Company.

The Manager, Integrated Analytics, will be focused on supporting the Company’s residential development activities, with a primary focus on analytic and research support for multifamily acquisition and development.

Primary responsibilities of the Manger position are as follows:
  • Performing asset level valuations and return on investment analysis for ground-up development, value-add, and core asset acquisitions.
  • Creating, maintaining, and updating financial models of existing and potential investments.
  • Stress testing of investment performance through scenario and sensitivity analysis.
  • Assisting in the preparation of investment write ups and capital requests for Senior Management review.
  • Performing market research; assist in the development of market studies and competitive set profiles.
  • Participating in the Strategic Investment Planning process.
  • Other ad-hoc research projects and analysis.
 
Qualifications:
  •  Four year degree with a preferred major in economics or other business-related field; MBA preferred but not required.
  • Three to five years experience acquiring / developing institutional quality real estate assets; significant experience in the multi-family sector is preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of real estate financial concepts (NPV, IRR, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience with advanced financial modeling in Microsoft Excel. VBA knowledge is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized team player with strong attention to detail.
  • Superior communication and time management skills; comfortable in a highly collaborative culture.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline oriented work environment.
