National Sales Director - San Diego

Title:  National Sales Director (936-001-711)
Location:  San Diego
Compensation:  Six figure base salary with very generous trailers and strong upside

Summary:
Great opportunity for entrepreneurial Sales Director to join an investment management firm (international value equity focus) seeking to grow their HNW and Institutional presence nationally.  This is an ideal situation for an independent professional with established corner office relationships who has tired of working for a larger firm that fails to recognize their contribution, doesn’t require supervision and is internally motivated—that type of individual will have the opportunity to build this business and have compensation tied to their efforts and success. Partnership is a possibility two to three years down the line.  Product mix includes separately managed accounts and sub-advisory business.

Responsibilities:
Report to the Managing Directors of the firm and take ownership of the overall sales strategy, both in terms of channels and regional focus, but also in terms of marketing using new social media outlets and disruptive approaches and technologies.
Quickly and efficiently communicate value proposition of investment products into key account/relationship managers, etc.

Requirements:
C-suite/corner-office level relationships within appropriate sales channels
Entrepreneurial mindset and capability to independently manage sales process
Demonstrated success in raising assets is an absolute requirement
High energy and drive, while still able to reflect firm’s calm/thoughtful investment process
Interest in leading edge sales/marketing techniques and technology
Prior experience with and focus on value equity investment strategies strongly preferred
