Job Title: Vice President, Consultant Relations (Investor Relations)

Position Summary:
To assist the Investor Relations Department in being the main point of contact for a select subset of external clients, namely consultants.

Job Responsibilities:
• Create a deep working relationship with each consultant, with the goal of getting the consultants to understand CIM’s investment strategies and offerings and to ultimately endorse CIM as an investment partner for their clients
• Maintain the relationship with each consultant with constant communication both in-person and via phone.
• Responsible for all communication between CIM and consultants, including responding to any information requested by consultants and conducting diligence tours and in-person meetings.
• Creating and building reporting capabilities around intelligence gathered from consultant interactions
• Develop and maintain deep relationships with the Client Service Executives and IR team to ensure close communications on consultant and LP meetings and progress
• Working closely with CIM’s other departments (Accounting and Reporting, Investments, etc.) as necessary
• Additional ad-hoc projects as necessary

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field required, MBA preferred
• 8+ years’ experience in a finance or investor relations position in a private equity firm or investment bank
• Has established relationships with the real estate consultants
• Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar software is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
